LOST: Beloved Family Dog "Rosie" - German Shepherd/Lab Mix - PLEASE HELP
Description:
Our beloved family dog Rosie has been missing since March 5th. She is a 5-year-old spayed female German Shepherd/Labrador mix, approximately 70 lbs. Black and tan coloring with a distinctive white blaze on her chest. She was wearing a red leather collar with brass nameplate (name and phone number engraved) and a purple bandana. She is microchipped (HomeAgain, chip #985141000123456). Rosie is very friendly with people and other dogs. She has a slight limp in her rear left leg from an old injury. She takes daily thyroid medication and needs her prescription food. We have 4 children who are devastated. Rosie was last seen chasing a rabbit through a gap in our fence. We have posted flyers throughout the area and contacted all local shelters. ANY information at all, please call day or night. We just want her home safe.
Backyard fence gap, 2847 W. Palmer St, Bucktown neighborhood, around 4:30 PM on March 5 2026. Possibly spotted near the 606 Trail heading west on March 6.
